Oliveira J. J. S. de & Cortez V. G. (2016) Marasmius lubricus, a new species of Marasmius sect. Globulares from Paraná, Brazil. – Sydowia 68: 99–105.

Marasmius lubricus is described as a new member of Marasmius section Globulares, from southern Brazil, based on the combination of the following morphological features: pileus campanulate, lubricous, brownish yellow to brown, lamellae adnate to subdecurrent, basidiospores 5–8 × 3–4 µm, subellipsoid to lacrimoid, pleuro- and cheilocystidia cylindrical to clavate, thin- to thick-walled, the latter sometimes externally incrusted. A full description, numerous illustrations, and comparisons with other related taxa are provided. A key for the identification of the Neotropical species of Marasmius sect. Globulares is also presented.
