Summary
Lipin´ska M. & Szlachetko D. L. 2016. Christensonella jose-schunkei, a new species from the Ch. uncata-complex from Peru (Orchidaceae-Vandoideae-Maxillariinae). – Phyton (Horn, Austria) 56 (1): 103–109, with 2 figures.

A new species of the genus Christensonella Szlach., Mytnik, Górniak & S´miszek (Orchidaceae-Vandoideae-Maxillariinae) is described and illustrated based on herbarium material. Christensonella jose-schunkei Lipin´ska & Szlach. belongs to the Ch. uncata-complex and shares with representatives of the group single-leaved pseudobulbs and comparable flower architecture beside its similar habit. It can be easily distinguished from the latter by the very narrow subfiliform leaf and by the lip form, e. g., callus in the basal third of the lip, but running up to the middle in the two compared species.
